Permas Seafood Village

My husband is having one of his very rare, super craving (food) this evening! While I was taking a late noon nap, he was patiently awaiting me to open my eyes. The moment I opened my eyes, he rattled on about wanting to eat Chilli Crab right now! Cute!

We're here to satiate his very rare (food) craving (^_^)
He shown me several outlets he has researched online; while I was sleeping. I chose the one in Permas because I have been wanting to bring +Kenneth Loke to the seafood night market for a while now.

After feeding our furkids, we are ready to satiate his craving! Vroom-vroom!

A narrow and bad road leading to here!
I was quite surprised when we arrived at the open car park. The ONLY car park and restaurant here. I think I've mistaken this outlet being in the area as the one I've wanted to bring him.

The ONLY outlet in this area.
Walking in, we were still hopeful to see more choices. But...

The main hall with some seating and live seafood
The view from our seating - alfresco area. Night Fishing Pond.
Time to order! My husband has already decided what to order before we arrive. Don't forget, we are here because of his rare, super craving after all.

Menu

Kangkong Belacan

Venus Clams

Salt & Pepper Deep Fried Baby Squid

Accidentally shot of the same dish, Venus Clam.

Salted Egg Crab

I wiped out the remaining Venus Clams!

Chilli Crab

Kenneth is not into the roe bits. His lost, my gain!
The produces here are not too shabby. But the cooking is really blah! The moment our ordered Chilli Crab came, we immediately agreed it will not taste as good. Sigh. All the cooking here lack the spice fragrant it supposes to have from that many rempah used. It almost tasted like it came straight from a budget bottled chilli sauce in the local market.

The only dish that tasted all right was the Salted Egg Crab. My husband also ordered a bottle of beer, while I just settled with a glass of sea coconut and longan drink.

Total damage for everything is MYR283. Not the most worthy meal of its kind here. The previous one I had was so much better and cheaper!

Portraits

Looking forward for the dishes!

Stick it UP!

Dig in!

After meal
There was a chatty and fussy eater cat here! The baby squid dish must be rather bad even for him. The cat refused to eat!

Kenneth asked me to look behind! The fussy cat is Moonlighting!
After we've gotten our bill, Kenneth decided to take a look at the live seafood here. This is also the first time I saw a King Grouper. I was fascinated by its size! I am particularly like this one below. I kept asking Kenneth if this type of fish is fierce. Because I was pretty tempted to adopt it as pet and hug it!

Doesn't it looks like it is smiling at me?!

We stared at each other like this for quite a long time!

So spotty!

Other Seafood Found Here

All right now, time to leave! We didn't quite giving up to explore this area. Next stop, the search for that area I was talking about earlier!

Time to leave!
Found it! The road towards here have altered slightly because of the construction (high rise) at the main road. Coming in is one way. Whether you're passing through or stopping by, you NEED to pay MYR2 per entry!

Since we were made to pay without an option to turn out, we parked and explore a tad.

Selesa Senibong Seafood

The first eatery here - Nasi Lemak Senibong

The Alley selling seafood and mix-bag of things.

The first stall has the most business!

Pre-Cooked Frozen Imports
