Cat Nini's Pre-Spaying Preparation

I'm all prepared to receive and care for her!

It was a last minute request from Aunt Shirley to seek help getting Nini spayed and cared. No other family member in Malaysia is willing or able. Poor Nini is in heat already, despite everyone's denial about it. Last seen her about a couple of weeks ago when I've already suspected she was ready.

So, I set the cage cleaned and prepared for Mama D to bring over to gramp's. I was getting all excited and anxious to receive her arrival. I know she has been quite wary and untrusting of humans because of her growing environment. She will be quite a handful in this house of cats.

True enough, she pawned all my furkids. Even Tatiana! Brrrr....

She's here! And all her favourites - litter box, litter and her pacifying floor mat.

Settling her in was pretty quick! Such a strong-willed little furkid! I set her mat and litter box. She wasted no time to piddle and drank from an unfamiliar bowl!

She did a sniff-inspection all over my bedroom and bathroom! That took about 15 minutes. I believe this is the first time she ever came this close to another cat. What's more, my house is filled with 5 cats! Sensory informations overload!

Am glad her pacifying mat is here!

She was exhausted soon. When she arrived, her eyes were bloodshot tired. She did wakes up almost every hour for a small, soft crying before going back to sleep again. By 0300hrs, I'm done with rest.

Coffee and video calling Kenneth while we watched Nini being cute while falling in and out of sleeps. Teehee. She finally allows me to keep her warm with blanket. She is pretty quick at adapting. I hope she will adapts to trusting me soon!
