GE13: Tonight in Taman Molek, Johor Bahru

View in YouTube

First time in my, soon to be, 37 years of being a Malaysian, I'm lucky enough to witness such passion and enthusiasm from my fellow countrymen giving themselves a chance to open up for uncensored truths. Let civilians be the judge of it, by giving everyone a fair chance to listen/witness what other parties have to show or say. After all, what is 5 years compared to decades of what have already been done or missed?

It is only human's nature to have an instinct called fear. Fear for changes, fear for the unknown, you name it, there will always be a slight fear for something or everything. This is the instinct that etches into us in the name of survival. But, we've often forgotten, that isn't the whole picture of survival in the most resilient living creature on earth, human. It is "flight or FIGHT". In this case, after decades of the same-same and dare I say, worsen situation, what is it for one to says that a change is all that bad?

Everyone knows that changes can go either ways. Worse or Better. But weigh the ratio of 5 years to come with decades that have passed. In another word, if you don't take this chance to change this time, you will just add another 5 years into your future with the same projected handling that was proven for the passed decades. If you DO take this chance to change this time, you will definitely have a different 5 years into the future, compared to the same passed decades of dissatisfaction, struggles and complains I heard from you.

I'm the least tolerant to hearing complains. Especially of the same one from the same person, days in, weeks out, years even, of the same. After a few times, you know the problem is the complainer himself/herself. Not putting an effort on the very thing you're complaining about to change it or live with it, you're just another rude and grotesque fart in the public wind/air.

So now you're given a chance. Go find out what you can do to stop complaining of the same issue. Or at least, take the chance to scout for materials from all sides so you can finally tell yourself, THIS is the decision I'm going to make, for better or worse, I'm going to live with it, consequences and all.
