3 Days of Event in Kuala Lumpur

It took longer waiting and traveling time than expected for me to get to KLIA from LCCT, even though on the map, you can see that these two buildings are actually pretty close, side by side, to each other! No clear, straight route from one building to another. The waiting time for shuttle between these two buildings are also ridiculous.
The ridiculous bit of waiting for the shuttle coach has a lot to do with seeing many coaches passed by our waiting line, labelled as Airport Shuttle between LCCT-KLIA, refusing to carry any passengers! They slowed down at the stop, paused for a while to refuse passenger, and left!
What gives, yoz!
Many international tourists who were with me at the line were utterly confused. We started chatting and somehow, they ended up following me to get into the right, OPERATING coach as each time, I will be the one asking the bus driver if the coach is on duty to go as labelled on their coaches! I wasn't as confused as the other tourists as I know, this is just typically Malaysia.
When we do get on the right, operating coach, I was appalled by how long and roundabout was the driving route just to get to another airport. This topic is pretty much my gripe throughout the whole visiting period as I have many questions with the civil engineers who designed and scheduled routes in Kuala Lumpur.
That reminds me of a question popped by a visiting friend, a working civil engineer for another country - How come this busy highway built a bent that allows sunrise/sunset to hit right onto driver's sight? Calculative risk much?
The Stays...
We checked into Furama, Bukit Bintang. Roomy and clean. The fittings are falling apart, though. Hooks, wall-mounted glass tray, etc are coming off their respective mounts. Piping within walls are loud and easily triggered. I am fine with the noise as I know this is not a young building (more than 10 years). You just need to close the bathroom door and the noise is pretty much contained when you are in the bedroom.
The windows are pretty well fitted, canceling a lot of environment noise surrounding the building; constructions, traffics, et al. I stayed on 23rd floor, tested it by opening and closing the allowable slight gap instilled. A lot of difference!
Beddings, toiletries, air-conditioning and other amenities are worthy for selecting this hotel.
Buffet breakfast is commendable and decent. Good selections and the flow is constant.
Berjaya University College of Culinary
An impressive layout and choices of faculty related to hospitality and culinary studies. We were shown around by Chef Jochen Kern after our coffee session within. An arrangement made possible by Chef Federico Michieletto, President Bocuse d'Or Malaysia for Asia.
More on our involvement and journey for Bocuse d'Or Malaysia coming up soon this month.
Later in the evening, we dropped by Marini's on 57 but was late for our appointment to meet Chef Federico; plates viewing and selection. The kitchen is too busy for our agenda as service time is on. But +Kenneth Loke and I are being pampered by Chef Federico with good food!
Friends
JK has been bringing us around for food amidst her busy schedule. Much appreciated! Love the grocery at Publika she brought us. We were impressed!
She even helped us booked a decent cabbie for our ride out to airport! WITHOUT being axed. Thank you!
Photos
Photos will be posted after I'm done editing. As of now, resting time is already very precious. Procrastination is allowed. Teehee.

Most of our dishes were lovingly laden with fresh truffle. Admittedly, I am not a big fan of this produce but with the right usage AND good quality, it is a great enhancement to many dishes.
Chef Federico said, "...I'm going to fatten you!" and he meant it! A really sweet man who is great with food!
