Harbour Café, Traders Hotel

We drove too far out this time. At 20:30hrs, we are here, thinking this place may have developed a whole by now. What we found are a few outlets selling very local bar food.

I was not in the mood at all for fried food or any food handled with vegetable cooking oil this evening. Many of the eateries are closed. I am in the mood for something refreshing and rounded.

So, we decided to just go for the hotel's café. Pretty safe (only) choice left for me here anyway.
The ala carte menu is very poor! This outlet is strongly, and possibly solely for buffet-goers. Not us tonight, really. Not up for much intakes.

Too far out from the nearest satellite town. It is already pretty late for dinner, too.

My main, Caesar Salad, under-seasoned. Other option here is the Garden Salad. So, that ain't much of a choice either.

+Kenneth Loke ordered the only non-spicy, non-fried, blah blah blah of my requests tonight - a steak. Tenderloin, medium-rare, asked where the beef from, the response was, "It is either NZ or Australia", in an awkward but polite manner.

Husband said the asparagus was badly handled. Fibrous without peeling it off, and under-cooked. Deemed UNEDIBLE.

Both the dishes we've ordered here were added (much) salt and pepper by us after tasting.
But, if we want a valued pricing buffet in Johor Bahru, we will definitely be here for it. Just not the ala carte from this outlet.
