Austin Perdana's Family Day

+Kenneth Loke and I were waiting at the porch for Papa Loke to be readied. I still haven't a clue what breed of bird is that! I love the way it shouts around my neighbourhood. Kekeke. It sounds like "woowee" and it never fails to make me chuckle.

My husband is sweet-talking to his plants again. He definitely has a greener thumb than me! Even a cactus will dies in my hands! That's kinda sad since I love flowers and plants to bits!

Purple Carrot is Sprouting!
Time to walk with Papa Loke to this evening's neighbourhood event! My husband felt a little awkward and out of place in this crowd. Too many families! Teehee.

I was just plain curious and checking out almost all corners covered in this small event (ground). Papa Loke went to get us registered for the event.

We were given some fun coupons and having our hand stamped for food. There will be serving food here, too!

Seeing how uncomfortable my husband was, I gave up trying to partake in this event with the fun coupons we were given. Hur, hur, hur.

We decided to take a stroll in the 'hood we hardly spent our time at. First stop. that pond in the central. Just a few steps away from the event ground, which is also the main playground for this precinct.

I've always thought this is a sewerage treatment pond/stabilisation pond

He LOVES to hid partially behind me when I take a handheld "couple shot". He said it makes him slimmer!
We've decided to take the back alley walks toward that li'community garden built by a couple of very green thumbers. Many here still aren't sure who or which household(s) they are! Not very socially, neighbour-ly, right?

When we were nearing the end of this alley, we met a silver cat who called out to us! My husband was absolutely amused by her cries. Very unique and funny!

This little sweet cat kept calling out to us to follow her! But never let us quite near her. Too adorable! It was as if she was beckoning us to her li'garden where her fur-friend and her hangs out! It was the garden we intended to visit, too!

When there, we met that sweet li'silver's furfriend. A tuxedo cat who is much more reserved and human-shy. Ran off to hiding when we were nearing. Awwww.....

My husband beckoned me to take a look at this beautiful breed of hibiscus! He likes the colour (combination) of this beauty.

I was captivated by this other breed of hibiscus. So small and interestingly shaped. Like windmill! Am pretty sure it is from the hibiscus family. Teehee.

There's even a proper garden shed here! Am impressed!

Chemical-free grown brinjal!
When I was taking a closed up shot of the above brinjal, +Kenneth Loke went, "Be careful, Mr Brinjal, she loves to eat you all!". Muahahaha!
