It's finally here! It's not that easy at all to find a clean-looking and small rice cooker with decent function/workmanship around. Especially one with a good pricing deals here ¯\(ツ)/¯ [11th Street deals]

I didn't have much time to purchase one from Japan last month either. Since my 2 years old, China-made, mini rice cooker is giving way - rice starting to burnt on the pot bottom a lot - I've decided to get a new one without spending too much.

Rice Scoop, Measurement Cup & Cord

I was quite disappointed with the quality when I finally received it. From the many seller (online) posts, I thought this version (smaller) will have the exact same built! Sellers didn't mention this smallest version doesn't comes with a detachable inner top lid! They have ALL copied and pasted the specs from the bigger version into their posts for this 1 liter version. Sigh ┐(°益°)┌ It's super eekie ヽ((◎д◎　))ゝ to not able to clean that part between the inner and outer lid. Starchy buildup and worse, soy sauce or curry sauce?! I've intended it to be used for braising like my old (cheap) rice cooker! I was able to remove that part for cleaning then.

The pot was not as well-coated as advertised. The cooking was decent. The option to cook in Fast or Small Portion is great! Unsure how long this will last. When it's time to go, I'll be getting a pressure cooker next.
