Me: We are too late for lunch, too early for dinner? 

Almost 2 hours of drive from home and parked our car at Lucky Plaza. It would have been a whole lot faster if it hasn't been of the congestion by trucks and lorries from Johor Bahru's part of the Causeway. We started our journey a whole lot later, too. Making sure we had enough rest before this and because of my O.C.D, I need to do my daily house cleaning/chores before I can leave the house. Especially on a trip that's going to take up the whole day/evening!

Arrived to find all the eateries are closed till dinner time Σ(ಥ_ಥ) Going to just have some food from Din Tai Fung then.

Ah well, DTF first then! 

This outlet has one of the p(╬ Ò ‸ Ó)q worse fried rice! We've ordered one (plate) to share, 6 pieces of dumplings & a small dish of their signature salad.

Time to shop! ﾄﾞｷﾄﾞｷ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)(*ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾄﾞｷﾄﾞｷ Next, Tokyu Hands!

Splurge a little on this luxury ALTY facial cleansing brush

We were quite fascinated with the brush! So soft and thick! Cost = SGD70/piece. That's about MYR210 |_`)Hides♪! Well, we need to change our skin care routine a tad, too. So, might as well invest a little more. 

Cold Ramen; Hokkaido Izakaya

Back to Japan Food Town for our dinner. A little queue for seat to our chosen eatery. Food taste and choices were ヽ༼ಸ‿ಸ༽ﾉ disappointing. Cold Ramen is a-ok ( ಠ ʖ̫ ಠ) The rest - potato croquette, crab miso soup, salmon milky hot pot, grilled scallop - were either bad or very lacking in produce freshness.

After dinner, whilst we walked out, we noticed the corner lot is selling something we should have for dinner instead - Bonta Bonta ﾀ━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━! This outlet sells more than onigiri. It reminds me of ekiben (駅弁) in Japan ♪♪♪ ヽ( ᐖゞ) We ended up with take-away - 2 pieces of onigiri for home supper tonight.

Dessert; Paris Baguette, Wisma Atria

Hubby packed some dessert as well ଘ(੭ ᐛ )♡ The purin is really, really nice! The cake, too. Light enough to have a lot and well for such hot, tropical country (ˆ ڡ ˆ)yum!
